About Old Florida Lumber Company
We operate our business with two defining characteristics: Craftsmanship and Reliability.
CRAFTSMANSHIP. Woodworking craftsmanship begins with top-quality wood. Our highly trained mill employees ensure quality by carefully selecting and hand-milling every board and timber we sell.
RELIABILITY. When you place an order, you need to know that we will do our best to make sure it is delivered on time and that it will meet your quality expectations.
OFLC's president, Randy Shropshire has been a State Certified General Contractor since 1980. Specializing in custom construction projects, he has over 35 years of experience in reclaiming and working with antique wood. He has built, remodeled, or supplied finished products to some of South Florida's finest homes. In Fort Lauderdale he has restored a number of older homes, including a portion of the historic Stranahan House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Restoration also includes work at Fort Jefferson and Loggerhead Key at Dry Tortugas National Park. Mr. Shropshire has received several craftsmanship awards from the Construction Association of South Florida, including the 1997 Overall Craftsmanship Award for a Residential Project.
We guarantee the quality of our lumber. If any of our products are found to be defective, they can be returned within 30 days for a full refund or replacement, provided the material has not been installed and that it is in its original condition. Returns due to overage are subject to a 20% restock fee. All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Because of their uniqueness, custom products and millwork items are excluded from this return guarantee.
OFLC is always looking for new team members with woodworking experience.
